Resource Industry Network (RIN) is implementing a Regional Accelerator Program commencing in August 2020 at the newly-opened Resources Centre of Excellence. This project has been made possible with funding from the Queensland Government and administered by METS Ignited.

The main objective of the program is to drive the commercial acceleration of small-to-medium METS businesses, start-ups and innovators in the Mackay region. Delivered face to face, the program will also cater for online participation, to attract businesses who may not be able to attend in person

The program content is aimed at enhancing participating business' capabilities by delivering information and expertise to:

  • Upgrade their internal business systems with a focus on digital marketing, pitching and relationship building skills;
  • Provide know-how to gain traction in the marketplace for their specific product or service;
  • Recognise the need to innovate to answer customer demands and remain competitive; and
  • Provide the tools to help establish robust and sustainable businesses for long-term success.

Delivering will take place over six weeks during August and September this year - exact dates and times to be confirmed. Each session will be 1.5 – 2 hours duration and each workshop will be 45 – 60 minutes duration.
