EOIs  NOW CLOSED FOR 2021 REGIONAL ACCELERATOR PROGRAM

Businesses with a product or service that has application in the METS/Mining sector and is at any stage of its development cycle are currently progressing through the Regional Accelerator program.

Resource Industry Network (RIN) implemented a Regional Accelerator Program in August at the newly-opened Resources Centre of Excellence. This project has been made possible with funding from the Queensland Government and administered by METS Ignited.

The main objective of the program is to drive innovation and the commercial acceleration of small-to-medium METS businesses, start-ups and innovators in the Mackay region. Delivered face to face, the program will also cater for online participation, to attract businesses who may not be able to attend in person

The program content is aimed at enhancing participating business' capabilities by delivering information and expertise to:

  • Upgrade their internal business systems with a focus on digital marketing, pitching and relationship building skills;
  • Provide know-how to gain traction in the marketplace for their specific product or service;
  • Recognise the need to innovate to answer customer demands and remain competitive; and
  • Provide the tools to help establish robust and sustainable businesses for long-term success.

Delivery is taking place over six weeks during August and September this year.
