Mackay Mentoring Network

Mentoring as an effective business strategy

Mentoring is more than personal or professional development. A structured mentoring program can strengthen culture, improve your Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and support better business outcomes.

Mentors encourage mentees to solve problems, practise active listening, and provide guidance on workplace behaviour, values and attitudes.

2026 Mackay Mentoring Network Program for RIN Members

About the program

The Mackay Mentoring Network program supports current and aspiring managers and leaders across regional industry and local government. It helps participants build a network of inspired leadership professionals and provides space to share and reflect in a confidential, non-judgemental environment.

Mentees can explore careers and skills through a mutually beneficial mentoring relationship, supported by guidance and practical tools. Mentors and mentees also have opportunities to connect with other professionals locally - with the aim of building lasting relationships and partnerships.
