As the keynote speaker for the popular Mackay event, Gold Coast Suns Chief Executive Officer Mark Evans will continue the important conversation around diversity in the workplace to guests attending the event. Mark has played a big role in the rise of women’s AFL and will discuss why women are so important to the Gold Coast Suns football club, the challenges they have faced, and what they’ve learnt along the way. Alongside Mark will be stars of the Gold Coast Suns Women’s team who will join in the conversation. Facilitating the event will be TV and media personality Liz Cantor. Mackay Regional Council, North Queensland Bulk Ports, Aurizon, and BHP Mitsubishi Alliance are the major partners, and once again, Resource Industry Network has offered complimentary tickets to local high school students thanks to a partnership with the Local Buying Foundation.
