THE 2023 MENTORING PROGRAM

Resource Industry Network and Mackay Regional Council have again partnered to deliver the 2023 Mackay Mentoring Network program. The Mackay Mentoring Network program aims to strengthen leadership capability by supporting current and aspiring managers and leaders of regional industries and local government to build a network of inspired leadership professionals.

It allows mentees to explore their careers and skills and provides opportunities for them to connect with like-minded people, through participation in a mutually beneficial developmental relationship.The Mackay Mentoring Network is a formally structured mentoring program with regular catch ups with a mentor for approximately an hour each session. To be eligible as a mentee in this program, you must be an employee of a RIN member business. However mentors are sought from both within and outside of this group. 

The formal program is planned to run for 8 months, commencing with the formal opening function on Tuesday 14^th March 2023 and closing with a final function on Tuesday 17^th October 2023.

The program is fully supported with training and support resources, and program events to ensure its participants are well supported. Each cohort will have additional activities included, tailored to the needs of the cohort to ensure individual development is supported during the program.
