2021 RIN Awards

Since 2008, the RIN Awards (formerly Chairman's Awards) Night has recognised the outstanding achievements of the region’s companies over the previous twelve months. It recognises excellence in business and the significant contribution that they make to the regional economy and community. The awards program provides a means by which outstanding performance can be revealed, acknowledged and celebrated by the whole sector.

The Gala Dinner will be held on Friday, May 21st, 2021 at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre.

2021 MAJOR PARTNER                                             2021 SILVER PARTNER                            2021 KEYNOTE SPEAKER SPONSOR

The Resource Industry Network Awards see the region's resource sector gather to celebrate excellence in business and significant contributions that businesses have made to the regional economy and community. Each year, attendees are treated to special entertainers and keynote speakers that ensure a fantastic night is had by all.

RIN has secured one of Australia’s leading business analysts and social commentators, Bernard Salt, as the keynote speaker for this wonderful night of celebration. Bernard is one of the most in-demand speakers on the Australian corporate speaking circuit and has been for more than a decade. He heads up The Demographic Group, which provides advice on demographic, consumer and social trends for business, and is widely regarded as the country’s leading social commentator by business, media and the broader community. He is a regular columnist for The Australian newspaper and is an adjunct professor at Curtin University Business School. Salt is perhaps best known to the wider community for his desire to identify and tag new tribes and social behaviours such as the “Seachange Shift”, the “Man Drought”, “PUMCINS” (pronounced “pumkins”) and the “Goats Cheese Curtain’. He was also responsible for popularising smashed avocados globally.

The awards firmly place the region’s resource services sector in the spotlight, and with so many challenges facing businesses on a daily basis, the event is a positive way to celebrate the many accomplishments happening in the resources sector and a cost-effective way to gain exposure for your business.

The awards are FREE TO ENTER as many times as you like and nominees benefit enormously through recognition with buyers, stakeholders and government. NOMINATIONS NOW CLOSED!

The RIN Awards provide an opportunity to step back from day-to day-business activity and make a valued assessment on the achievements of your organisation and staff, as well as recognise staff for the effort they have contributed to your organisation.
