RIN Awards Gala Dinner 2026

The annual RIN Awards Gala Dinner will be held on Friday, 4 September 2026 at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre (MECC) in Mackay.
The RIN Awards recognise the significant achievements, innovation and enterprise demonstrated by local businesses across the resources and supply chain sectors. This year is especially meaningful as Resource Industry Network celebrates its 25th anniversary, making the 2026 Gala Dinner a milestone celebration of industry, collaboration and progress.
With more than 250 industry leaders, professionals and business representatives in attendance, the RIN Awards Gala Dinner is a standout event on the regional calendar. It is a night where industry gathers to acknowledge outstanding performance, celebrate nominees, finalists and winners, and applaud the regional businesses doing great things.

Award Categories
There are seven award categories. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to nominate, with judges considering an organisation’s size when assessing each nomination.
Safety Foremost Award
Awarded to an organisation that demonstrates sustained safety performance and/or culture in the workplace, incorporating both physical safety and mental wellbeing.
Champion Culture Award
Awarded to an organisation that demonstrates how they have successfully engaged with employees to deliver an improved workplace culture for their people and business operations.
Connecting in the Community Award
Awarded to an organisation that demonstrates strong engagement with the community or external stakeholders.
Expansion into New Markets Award
Awarded to an organisation that demonstrates initiative, diversification or success in developing new products, services, markets or supply chain opportunities.
Manufacturing Excellence Award
Awarded to an organisation that demonstrates excellence in manufacturing to meet the current or future business environment.
Standing out from the Crowd Award
Awarded to an outstanding individual who demonstrates commitment, loyalty, dedication and resilience.
The Tony Britton Award (Chair Award)
Awarded to an individual who demonstrates outstanding leadership, dedication and support for the wider resource services sector and local community.

Judging
